The HP LaserJet 1020 has been a fixture of Indian offices for years because it does one job reliably: crisp black-and-white printing from a single computer. It connects by USB, takes up little desk space and works with standard Windows drivers, so setup at a new desk is quick.

Organisations rent it for billing and dispatch counters printing invoices and challans, reception desks printing visitor documents, accounts teams printing vouchers and statements, and temporary site or project offices that need a printer for a few months. Clinics, training institutes and small offices use it as a dedicated printer beside one workstation, and pair it with our office desktops for a complete counter setup.

The printer is rented month to month with a one-month minimum; 3, 6 and 12-month terms are quoted on request, and rates drop as quantity rises if you are equipping several counters. One toner fill is included at the time of delivery. Further toner and paper are the client's responsibility unless they are included in your quote, so ask us about consumables if you would prefer them handled.

Each unit is cleaned and test-printed before dispatch. 18% GST is added to the rent, and every order comes with a GST invoice.

Can the HP LaserJet 1020 be shared by several people on a network?

Not directly. It connects by USB to one computer. You can share it from that computer through Windows printer sharing, but the host machine must stay on. For a shared team printer, the LaserJet 1020w with Wi-Fi or the MFP 138fnw is the better choice.

What happens when the toner runs out?

One toner fill is included at the time of delivery. After that, toner refills are the client's responsibility unless they are included in your quote. Ask us about consumables when ordering if you would like refills arranged, especially for counters that print invoices all day.

How is the rent calculated?

Each configuration has a monthly rate that falls as quantity rises, in tiers of 1–5, 6–10, 11–25, 26–50, 51–100 and 100–200 units; the price list shows every tier. Rent is billed per monthly cycle from the date of handover. 18% GST is added on top of the listed rent and shown separately on the invoice, along with any add-ons and the delivery charge where it applies.

Can we add more RAM, storage or a bigger monitor?

Yes, subject to stock. On laptops, an extra 8 GB RAM is ₹400 a month and an extra 256 GB SSD is ₹400 a month. On desktops, an extra 8 GB RAM is ₹200 a month, an extra 256 GB SSD is ₹150 a month, and the monitor can be upgraded to 24-inch for ₹200, 27-inch for ₹400 or 32-inch for ₹600 a month. Add-ons are per device, plus 18% GST.
