The MacBook Pro 14.2-inch M5 Pro is for teams that want the most current Pro-series Apple chip on their most demanding desks. It has the Apple M5 Pro chip, 24 GB unified memory, a 512 GB SSD and a 14.2-inch display.
Companies typically choose it for roles where a faster machine translates directly into time saved: senior iOS and macOS engineers with large builds, ML engineers and data scientists experimenting with local models, platform teams running many containers, and creative leads finishing video and motion work. Because the rental runs for a year, picking the newest generation keeps those desks current through the whole term.
The 24 GB memory gives headroom for multitasking with heavy tools, and the 14.2-inch size keeps it portable for leads who move between teams, client sites and meeting rooms. If your senior editors prefer a larger screen, the 16-inch M4 Pro is the large-display option. If the role is demanding but not extreme, the MacBook Pro M5 with 16 GB costs less each month.
This MacBook Pro is rented on a 1-year lock-in, with rates that fall in tiers as quantity rises. Business KYC is completed online before dispatch. Your IT team handles MDM enrolment and Apple IDs, and every laptop is factory-reset on return.
Both have 24 GB memory, a 512 GB SSD and a 1-year lock-in. The M5 Pro is the newer chip, so it suits teams that want the latest generation for heavy builds and ML work across the year. The 14.2-inch M4 Pro offers the same memory headroom and may be the better value if your workloads already run comfortably on it.
Yes, within the limits of 24 GB unified memory, which the CPU and GPU share. It suits notebooks, mid-sized datasets, model prototyping and smaller local language models. Training large models still belongs on cloud or server GPUs. Keep large datasets on shared storage, since the SSD is 512 GB.
Each configuration has a monthly rate that falls as quantity rises, in tiers of 1–5, 6–10, 11–25, 26–50, 51–100 and 100–200 units; the price list shows every tier. Rent is billed per monthly cycle from the date of handover. 18% GST is added on top of the listed rent and shown separately on the invoice, along with any add-ons and the delivery charge where it applies.
A 1-year lock-in applies to new laptops (12th and 13th Gen Core and the RTX laptops), MacBook Air M2 and later, most newer MacBook Pro models, the 12th and 14th Gen RTX workstations and the Core i5 desktop. The HP LaserJet 1020w and the TSC label printer carry a 6-month lock-in. Rent is payable for the full lock-in even if a device comes back early. Everything else runs month to month.
