For teams hiring developers, designers or analysts into permanent roles, the MacBook Pro 14.2-inch M4 is the balanced choice. It has the Apple M4 chip with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, 16 GB unified memory, a 512 GB SSD and a 14.2-inch display.
It sits between the Airs and the Pro-series chips. Compared with a 16 GB Air, it gives a larger screen for code, timelines and design canvases. Compared with the M4 Pro, it keeps the monthly cost lower for people whose work is demanding but not extreme: iOS and web developers on mid-sized projects, product and UI designers, marketing editors producing regular short videos, and data analysts running notebooks and BI tools.
The 512 GB SSD gives room for Xcode and simulators, design assets and working footage. Teams with large codebases, multicam edits or heavy ML experiments should consider the 24 GB M4 Pro or M5 Pro instead.
This MacBook Pro is rented on a 1-year lock-in. Rates fall in tiers as your team grows, which helps when equipping an engineering or design pod. Business KYC is completed online before dispatch. Your IT team handles MDM enrolment and Apple IDs; at the end of the term we collect the laptops and factory-reset each one.
The M4 with 16 GB suits most web, mobile and backend developers on mid-sized projects. The M4 Pro with 24 GB is worth it for large native codebases, several containers or virtual machines running together, or ML experiments with bigger models. Many teams give the M4 to most engineers and the M4 Pro to leads and platform teams.
Yes. The 14.2-inch display and 16 GB memory suit Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and prototyping tools, and the 512 GB SSD holds local asset libraries. Motion designers and video editors working with long, high-resolution timelines will be better served by the M4 Pro or M5 Pro configurations.
Each configuration has a monthly rate that falls as quantity rises, in tiers of 1–5, 6–10, 11–25, 26–50, 51–100 and 100–200 units; the price list shows every tier. Rent is billed per monthly cycle from the date of handover. 18% GST is added on top of the listed rent and shown separately on the invoice, along with any add-ons and the delivery charge where it applies.
A 1-year lock-in applies to new laptops (12th and 13th Gen Core and the RTX laptops), MacBook Air M2 and later, most newer MacBook Pro models, the 12th and 14th Gen RTX workstations and the Core i5 desktop. The HP LaserJet 1020w and the TSC label printer carry a 6-month lock-in. Rent is payable for the full lock-in even if a device comes back early. Everything else runs month to month.
