The 8 GB MacBook Pro 13.3-inch M1 is the most affordable Pro in the catalogue and one of the Pro models rented month to month, with a one-month minimum. It has the Apple M1 chip, 8 GB unified memory, a 256 GB SSD and a 13.3-inch display.
It works well for project-based teams: an agency adding a contractor for a two-month brief, a startup putting together an iOS QA bench for a release, or a data team giving an analyst a Mac for dashboards, SQL clients and notebooks on light datasets. Front-end developers working in VS Code and a browser will find it comfortable.
Eight gigabytes is the limit. It is not the Mac for large Xcode builds, heavy Figma files, video editing or many containers at once; for those, take the 16 GB version of this model, or step up to the MacBook Pro 14-inch M1 Pro or a Pro-series chip. The 256 GB SSD suits work kept in Git or cloud storage.
Rates fall in tiers as quantity rises, 18% GST is added on top, and business KYC is completed online before dispatch. Your IT team handles MDM enrolment and Apple IDs, and each Mac is factory-reset when we collect it at the end of the term.
Pick 8 GB for testers, contractors and front-end developers who work in a browser, a code editor and one or two other apps. Pick 16 GB for anyone running Xcode with the Simulator, several containers, Figma with large files or data notebooks. Both are month to month, so you can mix them in one order.
Yes. Because this model is month to month with a one-month minimum, you can rent units for a QA cycle and return them after. Plan the dates in your quote, since cancelling after the order is placed costs one month's rent. Your IT team sets up test Apple IDs, and we factory-reset each Mac on return.
Each configuration has a monthly rate that falls as quantity rises, in tiers of 1–5, 6–10, 11–25, 26–50, 51–100 and 100–200 units; the price list shows every tier. Rent is billed per monthly cycle from the date of handover. 18% GST is added on top of the listed rent and shown separately on the invoice, along with any add-ons and the delivery charge where it applies.
A 1-year lock-in applies to new laptops (12th and 13th Gen Core and the RTX laptops), MacBook Air M2 and later, most newer MacBook Pro models, the 12th and 14th Gen RTX workstations and the Core i5 desktop. The HP LaserJet 1020w and the TSC label printer carry a 6-month lock-in. Rent is payable for the full lock-in even if a device comes back early. Everything else runs month to month.
