The 5th Gen Core i7 sits just above the 4th Gen in our older Core i7 range. It is built on a smaller process, so it runs a touch cooler and uses less power for the same work, while the Core i7 tier usually brings higher clock speeds than the matching Core i5. With an SSD and 8 GB RAM fitted, start-up and file handling are quick.

Renters use it for back-office operations teams processing orders and returns, accounts assistants working in Tally or a web ERP, customer support desks running a ticketing tool and chat, and institutes that want slightly quicker lab machines for spreadsheet or accounting courses. It is also used as a spare pool for larger fleets, where a dependable, low-cost unit can step in when another device needs servicing.

This configuration has no lock-in: month to month, one-month minimum. Rent per laptop comes down as your order reaches higher quantity tiers. We send Dell, HP or Lenovo units depending on stock, and a brand preference can be requested. Add 8 GB RAM or 256 GB SSD at a monthly add-on charge if a user needs more room. Each order is billed on a GST invoice with 18% GST over the rent, and starts after business KYC is completed online.

Should we pick the 5th Gen Core i7 or the 6th Gen Core i5 for an accounts team?

They perform similarly in Tally, Excel and browser ERPs. The 6th Gen Core i5 sits on a newer platform and tends to multitask a little more smoothly, while the 5th Gen Core i7 is the slightly lower rent. For accounts teams on long days, either works well.

Can we keep a few of these as spares alongside newer laptops?

Yes, and many companies do. Because there is no lock-in, you can hold a few 5th Gen Core i7 units as a low-cost spare pool and return them when no longer needed. Spares are especially useful for teams outside Delhi NCR, where a replacement takes 3–4 days to arrive.

How is the rent calculated?

Each configuration has a monthly rate that falls as quantity rises, in tiers of 1–5, 6–10, 11–25, 26–50, 51–100 and 100–200 units; the price list shows every tier. Rent is billed per monthly cycle from the date of handover. 18% GST is added on top of the listed rent and shown separately on the invoice, along with any add-ons and the delivery charge where it applies.

Can we add more RAM, storage or a bigger monitor?

Yes, subject to stock. On laptops, an extra 8 GB RAM is ₹400 a month and an extra 256 GB SSD is ₹400 a month. On desktops, an extra 8 GB RAM is ₹200 a month, an extra 256 GB SSD is ₹150 a month, and the monitor can be upgraded to 24-inch for ₹200, 27-inch for ₹400 or 32-inch for ₹600 a month. Add-ons are per device, plus 18% GST.
