It remains a refurbished, cost-focused configuration, so it is not the right pick for developers or heavy analysts.

Terms are month to month with a one-month minimum, so you are not tied in if a process winds down. The more units you take, the lower the per-laptop rate across our quantity tiers. Dell, HP or Lenovo units are dispatched as available, and you can request a brand preference subject to stock. An extra 8 GB RAM or 256 GB SSD is available for a monthly add-on charge. All rentals are billed on a GST invoice with 18% GST over the rent, after business KYC.

Can our accounts team run Tally and Excel together on the 6th Gen Core i5?

Yes. With 8 GB RAM and an SSD, a 6th Gen Core i5 handles Tally alongside Excel, email and a browser comfortably for a typical accounts user. If someone works with very large ledgers or many workbooks open at once, add 8 GB RAM to that unit for a monthly charge.

Is the 6th Gen worth it over the 5th Gen for a customer service floor?

For agents juggling a CRM, a chat console and a softphone, the 6th Gen is noticeably smoother when switching between windows. The difference in rent is small, so for multi-tool service desks we usually suggest it. For single-application data entry, the 4th or 5th Gen is enough.

How is the rent calculated?

Each configuration has a monthly rate that falls as quantity rises, in tiers of 1–5, 6–10, 11–25, 26–50, 51–100 and 100–200 units; the price list shows every tier. Rent is billed per monthly cycle from the date of handover. 18% GST is added on top of the listed rent and shown separately on the invoice, along with any add-ons and the delivery charge where it applies.

Can we add more RAM, storage or a bigger monitor?

Yes, subject to stock. On laptops, an extra 8 GB RAM is ₹400 a month and an extra 256 GB SSD is ₹400 a month. On desktops, an extra 8 GB RAM is ₹200 a month, an extra 256 GB SSD is ₹150 a month, and the monitor can be upgraded to 24-inch for ₹200, 27-inch for ₹400 or 32-inch for ₹600 a month. Add-ons are per device, plus 18% GST.
