About renting the TVS TD-201D Lite 2D Barcode Scanner
The TVS TD-201D Lite covers the codes a modern counter actually sees. Besides standard 1D barcodes, it reads QR codes and other 2D barcodes, which are increasingly used on e-tickets, registration passes, invoices, shipping labels and patient slips. It connects to a computer and enters each scanned code as keyboard input, so it works with most billing, registration and inventory software.
Event organisers and conference teams use it at registration desks to check in delegates from QR passes. Retail stores use it at billing counters handling both product barcodes and QR codes. Warehouses and e-commerce teams scan 2D labels for inward, picking and dispatch. Clinics, diagnostic centres and hospital front desks use it to pull up patient records from QR slips, and offices use it for visitor management and asset tracking.
For a complete station, pair it with a Core i3 or Core i5 office desktop, and with the TSC TTP-244 Pro label printer if you print your own labels or badges. For the heaviest daily use, the TVS BS-i302G is the sturdier 2D option.
The scanner is rented month to month with a one-month minimum, and rates drop as quantity rises. Event setups shorter than a month are quoted as event orders. Each unit is tested before dispatch, 18% GST is added to the rent, and every order carries a GST invoice.

Can we rent 2D scanners for a two-day conference registration desk?
Yes. Anything shorter than a month is an event order, quoted on request with a minimum quantity. We can supply TD-201D Lite scanners along with desktops or laptops for the registration counter, and collect everything after the event. Share the delegate count and number of counters when you ask for a quote.
Does the TD-201D Lite scan QR codes shown on mobile phones?
It is a 2D scanner, so it reads QR codes and 2D barcodes on printed passes and labels, and is commonly used for codes shown on phone screens such as e-tickets. Screen brightness affects reading, so test a sample of your passes when the units arrive.
How is the rent calculated?
Each configuration has a monthly rate that falls as quantity rises, in tiers of 1–5, 6–10, 11–25, 26–50, 51–100 and 100–200 units; the price list shows every tier. Rent is billed per monthly cycle from the date of handover. 18% GST is added on top of the listed rent and shown separately on the invoice, along with any add-ons and the delivery charge where it applies.
Can we add more RAM, storage or a bigger monitor?
Yes, subject to stock. On laptops, an extra 8 GB RAM is ₹400 a month and an extra 256 GB SSD is ₹400 a month. On desktops, an extra 8 GB RAM is ₹200 a month, an extra 256 GB SSD is ₹150 a month, and the monitor can be upgraded to 24-inch for ₹200, 27-inch for ₹400 or 32-inch for ₹600 a month. Add-ons are per device, plus 18% GST.
