The 16 GB / 512 GB MacBook Air M3 is the top configuration in the M3 Air range and the one to choose when storage, not just memory, decides how smoothly someone works. It has the Apple M3 chip, 16 GB unified memory and a 512 GB SSD.
The extra storage pays off for designers with Figma exports, brand assets and font libraries on disk; content and marketing teams cutting short videos and keeping raw clips locally; consultants and auditors who work at client sites with limited connectivity and need files offline; and leaders who carry large archives of decks and reports. For people working mostly in cloud drives, the 256 GB version is enough and costs less.
It is still an Air, so for long video exports, heavy 3D or large native app builds, look at the MacBook Pro range. For everything up to that point, the 16 GB / 512 GB M3 Air is a comfortable twelve-month Mac.
The rental runs on a 1-year lock-in. Rates drop as quantity rises, and 18% GST is added to the listed rent, with a GST invoice each billing cycle. Business KYC is completed online before dispatch. Your IT team manages MDM and Apple IDs, and each laptop is factory-reset on return.
People who keep large files on the laptop: designers with asset libraries, content teams editing video locally, and consultants or auditors who work offline at client sites. If a user's files sit in Google Drive, OneDrive or Git, the 256 GB version does the same job for less. Mixed orders are common.
For short social clips, product videos and presentation edits in Final Cut Pro, iMovie, CapCut or Premiere Pro, yes, and the 512 GB SSD gives room for footage. For long-form edits, multicam projects or regular high-resolution exports, a MacBook Pro M4 Pro or M5 Pro is the better tool for sustained work.
Each configuration has a monthly rate that falls as quantity rises, in tiers of 1–5, 6–10, 11–25, 26–50, 51–100 and 100–200 units; the price list shows every tier. Rent is billed per monthly cycle from the date of handover. 18% GST is added on top of the listed rent and shown separately on the invoice, along with any add-ons and the delivery charge where it applies.
A 1-year lock-in applies to new laptops (12th and 13th Gen Core and the RTX laptops), MacBook Air M2 and later, most newer MacBook Pro models, the 12th and 14th Gen RTX workstations and the Core i5 desktop. The HP LaserJet 1020w and the TSC label printer carry a 6-month lock-in. Rent is payable for the full lock-in even if a device comes back early. Everything else runs month to month.
